The2Lauras: a big thank you to all who came to this event in spite of the gullywasher that was forecast to come. funny, my weather app had things clearing by nightfall. turf tiger did a great job of the poker run for his first time....hey, big deal it did not get published on a big souvenir weekend! thank you to marty for the cool handmade gift, my favorite kind of present. marilyn if you did not tell me and melanie to stop making sandwiches we probably would have had twice as much! the big story is what happened to jaybee85 on her way home to mobile, she got hit by a drunk driver that sped away. unbelievably, she stayed with him dodging thru neighborhoods all the while on the phone with her husband who is a mobile policeman on duty. good ending to that story. no one got badly hurt i believe. fuzzy and boilmaw made the best rice pudding that i and michael have ever tasted! it was nice to meet semi-newbie queenjeanne....she was no queen, she sat on the floor with the rest of us ! cvm3 got lucky on a rainy night and found our indoor bonfire event just by chance. thx for coming !!!! my heart is so happy that dj1974 showed up. it is kinda traditon that shortcake and grandkids spend the night with us whenever they stay for a bonfire. it was a very relaxing evening with them. honiepye and colefreak always make me smile when they come...ty to melonknee for all the help and putting up with my lack of direction. i think i will make a cool plaque for fins & feathers when i see them next....just love the name.
