The Puzzle

-----------------

In James' town, there stood a fence. It was a mystery to all the residents who visited it. Most of the people who saw it never paid it any attention. After all, it was just a fence. But not to James. He was just 9 years old, but this fence took up most of his free time. Nobody stopped to think about the fence quite like he did. How did it get there? Why is it here now? Who put it there? These questions ran through young James' head on a day to day basis. Some would think it impossible to know so much about one simple fence. But James knew everything there was to know. 2 bars, and 5 intersections. No offset in the fence, it was completely even, and just recently James had discovered his most important piece of information yet. It was placed there by a company named Lived Limited. An odd name, James thought, but no matter. There were some other things he was more confused by. This "company" had never done anything else that had been documented online, other than placing this one fence. Searches for the name ended in strange text blurbs. There was one recurring blurb that James had noticed, it went: "nrhfrytresxeno-iesxws eet ieffytofu ude eet eeot ot he ite hfv i etsvnynn it w orhnrdsvnysvn". James thought this might be some sort of code, but didn't know what to do with it. It was all random to him. One day, James travelled once more to the fence. It was quite close to his house, and he often went multiple times per day. He arrived at the site, and stopped. It sounded like someone was trying to whisper to him, but from no apparent direction.

"James? It's me. Did you notice something about the company name?"

"I've come to collect you. You should have deciphered the code by now. I see you are getting nowhere with our test. It's time for a fresh face."

Good luck! :)
