As the owner has not responded to either my log or my colleague's previous log requesting that they check this cache I am archiving it.

In baseball, the two highest accolades are to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, and to have your uniform number retired by the club (so no future player can ever wear that number again).

For those talented enough to achieve the feat, a simple ceremony is held during which they are presented with a ball which has been signed by every other member of this exclusive club and they are invited to add their own name. Nobody ever gets to keep the sacred HOF ball.

So far, only a few baseball players have achieved the double distinction of a retired jersey and induction into the Hall Of Fame. To solve this cache, you will join them.

No knowledge of baseball is required, but you will need to do some research from home (work) to ascertain the correct coordinates.

The cache itself consists of a single item wedged into a waterproof container; this is also the logbook, you will need your own pen. Please replace as found with any necessary waterproofing / camouflage.
