下彦間町にありますが、名称は宇都宮神社です。
この神社では祇園祭が、毎年8月1日に近い日曜日に開催されるそうです。
下彦間郷土民芸保存会が、祇園祭で、山車のお囃子や獅子舞「ささら舞」を上演をしています。
静かな雰囲気はありますが朽ちているわけではなく、
各所補修されている部分が見られるので、
地域の方々に大切にされている場所なのだと思います。
