As you travel to this cache, you will experience Silver Spring Road as it once was before the Northeastern Expressway bisected the road. At one time, this 2 lane road connected Belair Road to Philadelphia Road. Now it starts at Joppa Road and ends, well, it ends where you are as you sign the log. Until a few years ago, there was a short section of the road on the other side of the highway, but that section has been buried under a landfill.
You will be looking for a bison tube attached to the wire barrier that lies between you and the highway below. I took 4 readings over 2 days at GZ, I hope the published coordinates are adequate. Stealth is recommended.
