Geocache Description:

By attending this event on Friday, January 26, 2018 you will earn the Australia Day 2018 souvenir.  1 -2 pm at Surprise Park (hopefully under or near the ramada covering)                                                                        ... south of Bell Rd (also east of the 303)

This is just a simple meet and greet to meet other cachers, talk cache and to earn a souvenir. Let's hope the weather is nice.

Here is a fun fact to clear up a common misconception about Australia. There is deeper relevance for the emu and the kangaroo on the Australian coat of arms. Not only are both animals indigenous to Australia, they also have one trait in common: none of them can walk backwards. This characteristic serves as a metaphor for Australians to always move forward.

So, if you have TB's for discover or trade, bring them along, to move them forward.

Parking: is easy on the north side of the Park (Bullard & Paradise La), also there is parking on the south side of the library off of Bullard. If there happens to be traffic control on Bullard and Bell, you may think about coming in from the Litchfield side.
