Bodega Ridge hike is an inspirational and beautiful hike on Galiano Island. It's an easy hike that takes you to the highest point of Galiano island. The Trail is relatively flat with gradual slopes. Easy for everyone. Just before you get to the peak to enjoy the views of the Salish Sea, Wallace Island, Saltspring Island and the other islands, this relatively easy find on the way there is right off the main hiking trail.
Look for a mossy rock next to the trail. You'll know the right one because there are 3 tall sisters (trees) that are standing in front of it. Try not to dislodge or disturb the beautiful moss as you look down below the rock. You'll find a clear plastic container with a blue lid with some nice goodies inside it. It's a nice reward and about a 20-30 minute walk from the parking lot.
