Geocache Description:

Welcome to Shaul garden also known historically by the name monkeys garden. Located on top of one of the prominent hills of Ramat Gan, with great panoramic views from northwest to northeast.

About the cache:

You are looking for a nano cache with only a log, which is completely unseen yet accessible. No need to climb over fence.

About the place:

Until the early 1970s there used to be cages of monkeys and other animals in the garden, but then they were moved to the safari-zoo. This garden was built in the 1930s by the legendary mayor Krinitzi and the chief gardener Civshani, who did a wonderful job throughout the city, which can still be seen even today. Before that, the hill was dubbed "thieves hill", and actually in world war one was a view point and used for artillery by the british when they wanted to cross the Yarkon river.

Shaul Tchernichovsky was a great hebrew poet, born in 1978 in russia, died in jerusalem in 1943. Best known for his nature and homeland poems

Geocaching karma:

what is it? a quote from Project-GC:

Caching karma equals the number of logs you have received on your caches from other cachers divided by the number of caches you have logged. A karma above 1.00 is normally preferred. The idea is that you should give back to the community at the same time as you use it. In other words, hide caches, not only log others.

-----------------------------
