2048 Mystery Cache

strongsRus: I think it’s time for this one to go I managed to find an alternative host for the puzzle but while I was testing the puzzle that website failed too. Thankyou to those who managed to solve and find the puzzle, the actual cache will remain in place for the next week just in case anyone solved it whilst the puzzle was active and haven’t found it yet.

A puzzle that can either be entertaining or very frustrating based on one of my favourite games 2048, good luck!

How To Play

The aim of the game is to get the number 2048 using additions of the number two and its multiples.

At the start you have a grid of 16 tiles showing two numbers - usually two '2's', maybe one '2' and one '4'.

Move one number up or down, left or right trying to join two equal numbers.

When two equal numbers touch each other, they add together, and after each move another number '2' or '4' will appear.

You can carry on playing getting bigger and bigger numbers trying to get to '2048' which is the goal of the game.

If you run out of free tiles on the grid, the game ends.

But that would be too simple - so the geocaching version has had the numbers replaced with some hopefully well-known symbols.

There is quite a lot of tree cover at GZ so the hint will help.
