This cache is not a Challenge cache. You may find this geocache and log this geocache without qualifying on any Geochecker. You also do not need to show proof of qualifying in your found-it log.
Under the Groundspeak rules for Challenge caches, user-defined polygons are no longer accepted. This would include Maryland ADC squares. The Maryland ADC Challenges that were published before June of 2015 have been grandfathered and I enjoyed trying to complete several of them as it took me to places in Maryland that I never had been to ever. A couple of years ago, Alzarius, the mortards, and myself mapped out the entire state of Maryland in ADC squares. There are approximately 930 ADC squares that cover the entire state of Maryland. Vogelbird was kind enough to create a Challenge Checker that checks how many ADC squares a geocacher has found and displays a map of Maryland showing which squares a geocacher has found a cache in and which squares a geocacher has not found a cache.
Since this is only considered a quest and not a Challenge, you can find and log this cache no matter how many ADC squares you have found. The Challenge Checker is set for 500 ADC squares. As of the publishing of this cache there are about 12 or so geocachers that have found caches in over 500 Maryland ADC Squares. A leader board will be created on this cache page which will include every geocacher who finds and logs this cache with the number of ADC squares they have found whether it is above 500 or below 500. I will update the leader board periodically. Once a certain number of geocachers who have found caches in over 500 ADC squares have found this cache, I will give out an award to those who have completed the quest. I hope this cache encourages you to cache in sections of Maryland that you have never been to before. My last caching trip that got me over 500 squares, I visited the towns of Rock Hall and Chestertown, places I had never visited before.

The geocache is on the Appalachian Trail just north of Fox's Gap. It has been approved by Maryland DNR.
