An Invitation from Vancouver (the original Vancouver), Washington cacher.
You are invited to attend an Event early Sunday morning April 1, 2018 from 8:30 to 9:30 at Cariboo Coffee, 3261 Peachtree Road NE. I am not sure how accurate the coordinates are. I got the coords off the Internet. Wide selection of drinks and breakfast foods at Cariboo Coffee.
Please log a "will attend" as soon as you know you will be there and how many will be with you so I know approximately how many will attend the Event.
Each caching name will receive a small goodie bag when signing in. There will be also three prizes in three different Geocaching categories.
My Geocaching name is Rose Red from the Brothers Grimm's story "Snow White and Rose Red". I have been Geocaching since October 2004.
I am an Oregonian living in the Heights in Vancouver, Washington (across the Columbia River from Portland, Oregon). I would like to meet some Cachers during my visit to Atlanta.
I have created historical and other geocaches in North Portland, Oregon and Clark County, Washington i.e. "Vanport, the city that drowned". I have created over a thousand Waymarks - primarily U.S. NRHP and Glacial Lake Missoula Flood Features.
I have found 3,350+ Caches and 558 Benchmarks. I have found 99 Earthcaches in seven states, and created nine Earthcaches in Oregon and four Earthcaches in Washington State. I found 210 Virtuals.
I completed the Oregon DeLorme Atlas Challenge in 2012 and Washington State DeLorme Atlas Challenge in August 2017. I am working on the Idaho State DeLorme Atlas Challenge even though it has been Archived. Hope springs eternal that it will be resurrected.
I have hosted Events in Washington State (Vancouver, Seattle and Bellingham), South Dakota, Virginia, Arizona, Florida, New Mexico...and now Atlanta!
Looking forward to meeting you all. Maureen (Rose Red)
