What do you do with old toys to make room for new ones? Use them as swag in a cache of course.
We have been looking for a new spot that is enough off the beaten path to have a nice sized cache but not too far in for most kiddos to reach. Hopefully this spot works.
Cache is located on a spur of the Aiea Loop Trail and is located approximately 1 mile from the begining of the main trail starting at the upper parking lot. It is not a strenuous hike, but it can be muddy and rooty dependent on recent weather. Turn left off of the main trail trail at the way point; side trail is just after the electrical lines and is a well used path. You will double-back on another ridge and pass the same electrical lines again. Cache is located near the turn point to Kalauao Falls.
