Not only the starting point to the world famous Mount Kinabalu 4,095m climb but the trails and gardens around the Mount Kinabalu Park Head Quarters themselves offer up an incredible feast of orchids, birds and insects - a true nature lovers paradise. There is a reasonable entrance fee for Malaysians and Foreign visitors which you will pay as you proceed through the entrance gate. A safe, friendly and easily accessible for young and old alike Mount Kinabalu park has something for everyone. This Geocache was hidden with Sutera Sanctuary staff members Freddie and Albianie with whom I am in contact with so if anyone has any problems or queries about the cache just let me know. PS. Yes there is a beware of snakes sign but rest assured we made it was perfectly safe to stache a geocache here with Freddie and Albianie first.
