Another in the series of Bison Tube Hides commemerating North Dakota State Football Championships. 🤘
January 6 2018 in Frisco, Tx at Toyota Stadium the Division One Football Championship was played in front of 19090 fans, between #1 James Madison University of Virginia and #2 North Dakota State University out of Fargo, ND. On the way to Championship day both teams recorded blowouts against their semi-final opponents, solidifying an instant classic championship game.
JMU received the kickoff to start the game. NDSU was able to hold them and received a punt. The Bison went 66 yards in 11 plays for the first score of the game, a touchdown by Bruce Anderson(Bruuuuuucccce). JMU after a couple possessions answered with Field Goal. In the second quarter the bison went up with another touchdown by a long 50 yard pass from Easton Stick to Darrius Shepherd. Each team would finish the quarter by exchanging field goals. After halftime JMU brought their game, scoring a touchdown and making the score 17-13. This score would hold up as the two defenses battled back and forth. The notable stars of the game were the defensive teams and JMU's special teams which shortened the field in their teams favor. The fourth quarter would remain scoreless after a blocked Cam Pederson Field goal and a turnover on downs by JMU on the NDSU 25. Go Bison!
