This geocache celebrates the "Philosophenweg" or Philosopher's Way, a walking path in Heidelberg Germany, as well as the tradition of philosophizing while walking. The path gets its name from the fact that university professors from the university at Heidelberg would walk along this path in contemplation. I fondly recall walking on the Philosophenweg when I traveled to Germany. It had a marvelous view of the city, and I think that trails at Sibley Park also offer views that support the activity of contemplation or philosophizing.

To find this geocache you will need to use information you find at the posted coordinates, which take you to the natural history display in the main parking lot for Sibley Park. You'll need to look at one of the park brochures/maps there to get information to find the final coordinates. However if there are no maps there you can also go online and see the map by searching under Sibley Volcanic Regional Preserve.
You will be taking the information about the elevation of Round Top, as well as the number of parking spots at four main staging areas shown on the map.
