The area surrounding the GZ is home to the 'Powerful Owl' so I thought it was a fitting area for my little guy to hang out and watch the world go by. I created this owl last year for the log book of my CITO event, hence all the signatures on the feathers. It is made from a couple recycled soft drink can and to round it out, the log book is housed in an old blood glucose test strip container. Best access is to drive straight past the GZ to the property entrance further up on the right, plenty of room to turn around there, check out the view, then head back down the road to make use of the small pull off area on the left, which is directly opposite the cache. You will need your own writing implement and please replace the natural barrier so it is not noticeable to cars traveling down the road.
