01 Viejas Minas de Rodalquilar.

Rodalquilar, en el distrito de Níjar de la provincia andaluza de Almería, es un antiguo pueblo minero en lo que ahora es el Parque Natural de Cabo de Gata.
Antes de la minería de oro comercial durante el régimen de Franco (mediados del siglo XX) ya había una minería desde mucho tiempo antes en Rodalquilar. Entre finales del siglo XIX y principios del siglo XX, muchos mineros buscaban metales y, por casualidad, también encontraron oro.
Estas minas en el área de Rodalquilar fueron entre otras:
"Las Niñas", "Ronda y el Resto", "Consulta", "María Josefa", "Sol (La Milagrosa)", "No me duermo".
Una de estas minas se presenta aquí.
Esta mina, también llamado mina La Milagrosa, utiliza una brecha andesítica mineralizada hidrotermal, que se consolidó con calcedonia y pequeñas cantidades de galena, esfalerita, calcopirita, una variedad de minerales de cobre secundarios y muchos otros.
Vemos un pozo a través del que se extraía la roca, que se extraía en galerías interiores. El material fue transportado con carreta. Las fechas exactas no se conocen. Se puede ver un gran montón donde aún se puede encontrar muchos minerales.

Nota de seguridad:
¡En la GZ, la mina no es segura! Está absolutamente prohibido ingresar a la mina. Los niños deben ser tomados de la mano! ¡Se requiere precaución absoluta!

Rodalquilar, in the district of Níjar in the Andalusian province of Almería, is an old mining town in what is now the Natural Park of Cabo de Gata.
Long before the commercial gold mining during the Franco regime (mid-20th century) there was already a mining industry in Rodalquilar. Between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, many miners were searching for metals and, by chance, they also found gold.
These mines in the Rodalquilar area were among others:
"Las Niñas", "Ronda y el resto", "Consulta", "María Josefa", "Sol (La Milagrosa)", "No me duermo".
One of these mines is presented here.
This mine, also called La Milagrosa mine, uses an hydrothermal mineralized andesitic gap, which was consolidated with chalcedony and small amounts of galena, sphalerite, chalcopyrite, a variety of secondary copper minerals and many others.
We see a shaft through which the rock was extracted, which was found in interior galleries. The material was transported with a cart. The exact dates are not known. You can see a large heap where you can still find many minerals.

Security note:
At the GZ, the mine is not safe! It is absolutely forbidden to enter the mine. Children must be holded by their hands! Absolute caution is required!
