The Nature Series is a group of Geocaches dedicated to the Nature of the world. The Geocaches are all themed around a specific asset of Nature.
Extending out from the hike and bike trail is this little path that takes you into the middle of Lady Bird Lake for an amazing view of the city and Bird Island. Park along Lake Shore Drive and make the little walk. Notice the SUP rental place nearby and the hostel. To the east you'll see the Longhorn Dam and to the west you'll see the city skyline. Bird Island is within your reach, but far enough you need some sort of boat. Out there you will find a cool little geocache as well. Be careful! A lot of people fish around here, so try to be stealthy. Check out our other nature series caches located all along the hike and bike trail!
