🏆🥇Congrats GasStationTuna on the FTF! 🥇🏆
Here is another Silver Ore cache for the die-hard wilderness and adventure lovers! For my Nature friends who prefer taking the path less traveled.
For so many years this has been one of my favorite spots to sit down, relax, and think. I frequent this place often, especially after a rainstorm when these large dry falls reactivate and are teeming with life!
Be Well Gorge harbors a reasonably wide variety of flora and fauna, with Interesting rock formations of arkose sandstone that produce caves, waterfalls and outcroppings. It's a whole entire habitat that is protected and shelterd perfectly underneath the shade of tall bamboo thickets and canyon walls.
Chalk Dudleya dots the cliffs high above. Palmetto and ferns fleck the streambed, providing you with a feeling of exotic remoteness.
TAKE LOTS OF PHOTOS :)That way we can witness the scenery change over time!
The cache is a red tin. It's contents include:
-1 California Sage Bundle (artemesia californica) hand picked and rolled here in these mountains.
-1 small piece of raw Silver-Quartz Ore that I found in a remote mountain range in the Mojave desert. The blue is Azurite and the green is Malachite oxidizing throughout the Quartz as bright colorful veins. The black is Silver Tertrahedrite.
-2 Hematite magnets
- 5 glass beads
- Log & Pencil
