Geocache Description:

Vampy Valentines Afternoon Tea

We all know Valentines day is coming up quick on the 14th, so we thought we would hold a Vampie Valentines afternoon tea, just a few days before Valentines day. So come on out to Cold Creek Park, we'll have the tea on, there will be socializing and TB trading going on.

What exactly is afternoon tea you might ask, the simplest form of afternoon tea is meal of tea, scones and cream. If you like more sweets with your tea you have a light tea. If you like more savory flavors then you have a full tea, which is more commonly thought of by Americans as Afternoon tea. Which tea are you? If you prefer light tea, bring, some cookies, sweet breads, sweet scones, pound cake or another sweet pastry. If you prefer full tea, bring herbed bread or scones, salmon spread, cheese and crackers, chicken salad, pasta salad or another savory appetizer. And bring enough to share! We'll bring teas, cider, bagels and cream cheese. If you like, feel free to theme your item in Vampie, or Valentines day or combine the two. Your could even dress the part to if you want to.

Where to find us: We are going to be at picnic shelter inside the park. There is only one parking lot and the shelter at the end of the the parking lot. When you arrive at the coordinates the location will be obvious, plus we'll have the banners out, to help guide you in.
