Looking at my caching karma recently, combined with my recent (thanks to Geocaching!) love of exploring all the Bay Area trails compelled me to give back. So I'm creating this Johnny Appleseed series, sprinkling caches all along the trails closest to home.
This cache is in a very peaceful section of Zinfandel Trail, a section of Stevens Creek County Park that overlooks the reservoir at points. There is parking for a fee at the Cooley trail head southeast of here (sign says to pay at Chestnut Parking Lot or Launch Ramp at the Reservoir). You can also park where I did and come through Pichetti Ranch. Parking waypoints shown. But (bonus!) if you come from Cooley you'll come across two great Tiny caches, one which is one of my favorite traditional caches of all time. Park hours are 8:00am to sunset.
My GPSr was probably off, so keeping the D probably higher than otherwise. The cache title should be all you need, though you might need to speak a little Greek. See the hint for a little bit more.
