Geocache Description:

Get a spectacular birds eye view of Mount Isa from the Hilary Street lookout. The lookout with its global signpost, offers a 360-degree panorama of the city and mine area. Visitors must take a second look at sunset or after dark for spectacular views of the Mount Isa Mine at night.

While your taking in the spectacular view of Mt Isa - why not do a little Geocaching ? Located slightly off the beaten track this small cache may be a little bit hard to find but with the help of the hint you should be successful. This cache contains a sample of led from one of Mt Isa’s Mines as well as some sea shells that represents our family’s roots ( growing up with the beach as our back yards ) Be sure to watch your step and always keep your eyes open. Enjoy the cache and of course the view.
