We have placed this, our first Geocache in the next village from where we live. We hope to continue this cache into a series so watch this space. Parking is available next to the cache location but please respect the residents. This would be suitable as a drive by grab.
Cachers with a military interest will be interested in the nearby former Royal Navy Armaments. More information can be found here. http://www.deanhillpark.co.uk/history-office-complex.php The former railway line can be seen on the opposite side of the road to the cache location.
Across the road from the cashe location, back towards the railway crossing is a footpath which takes you Dean Hill Barn Farm, this is well worth the uphill climb for some lovely views of the local countryside.
