If things continue to go as planned we, boombear, are fast approaching the 1500th day of our streak. Overall we have loved the hobby so far. However, there is no way we would have made it this far without all the wonderful local cache owners, event hosts, and friends we’ve went on adventures with. This event is really about you. To prove this, our unique idea for the event is to reward cache owners, but not just any cache owners. I’ve run the idea by cache effect and have been told I’m good to run with it. Here it is. According to a popular and useful sister site to geocaching.com (project gc) we have a statistics page that indicates which cache owners from which we’ve found the most hides. With this information we will be awarding the COs who attend, whom rank the highest on our list, with trackables and other prizes. Those who have not hidden a cache or that have not made the list are more than welcome to attend. The event will be held at the Tim Hortons on 170 st and 111 ave (the one Willow Zilla holds his new year’s event at) on Tuesday February 6 from 530-630pm. Everyone takes care of their own refreshments. Don’t forget to log your will attends.
