Concordia Oceanus 2
- In Peace and Loving Memory -
The cache is not at the posted location. Please solve the puzzle to
determine its true coordinates.
This cache is part of a
series on the North Oregon Coast. For more information, please visit
Seven Sisters of the Sea.
The cache replaces and
upgrades the original,
Concordia Oceanus, which had several problems, including missing street
signs. The clue for the series is the same. This new version follows
the "Little Pictures" approach to photo puzzles.
To solve this field
puzzle, take a walk in Warrenton's beautiful Ocean View Cemetery. Although
lacking an ocean view, it is nonetheless a
fantastic setting, between lake and forest.
Concordia, Roman goddess
of harmony and peace, provides the namesake for this cache.
Dogs are allowed on the
grounds, but please keep them leashed and cleaned up after. The grounds
are open 7:30 AM to sunset.
You will probably want
to take a printout of this listing with you or a device that shows the images
clearly.
As you enter the
grounds, stay left (west) at every junction and park at the posted
coordinates in the northwest corner.
To begin, walk east onto the grounds and watch for
the first photo. From then on, simply follow the trail of photos which should lead
you right to the cache! The pictures are in order left to right and
then down.
In almost every case, the next photo site can be
seen from the current one, though it may pay to have sharp eyes! Look in
all directions and expect a weaving path.

Have fun!
