Geocache Description:

Traveling to Frankfort, pass Villiers on the R26, quite often, I noticed all these turn-offs to Windfield.  And therefor I investigated.

Windfield is a railway siding used to load maize for sending it on it’s way to different depots.  Therefor the silos that build here.  This part of the Free State produces a lot of maize and nowadays a well known Coop are using the silos and a lot of trucks transports the maize.

I placed a few caches on the different entrance roads to the Windfield silos.

Maintenance:

Geocaching is a community-based activity to be enjoyed by everyone.  To find a DNF, after going to the effort to get to the location, is a great no-no!!  But sometimes, sh@#%&*t happens, and the container got lost, got destroyed, log sheet wet or full, etc., etc., etc.

Therefore, as CO of this cache, YOU that go through the effort to get to this cache, do have my permission & blessing to either replace the container (not an extravagant container) & log sheet, or the log sheet, whatever the problem might be.

I always try to maintain my caches, but it’s not always possible.

Just one request, please take a photo and place it with your log when you did some maintenance, I would appreciate it.

Thank you and enjoy the cache!!
