This is a memorial cache for Hikerguy1's Mossy Way
As some of you know, the cache owner, John Marcelina, known as hikerguy1 on geocaching.com, passed away. Hikerguy1 had 4 caches in Rockefeller State Park. Mossy Way was originally hidden on September 1, 2004 and had 141 finds during the 13 years it was in place.
This memorial tribute cache has been placed a short distance from the original spot, bringing it closer to the trail and not in the stone wall.
Nearby parking can be found at Stone Barns (free Wed-Fri, fee other days). Avoid parking on route 448 where there are NO PARKING signs. There is legal parking on 448 about 0.5 miles north of the trail head.
