Geocache Description:

Jeremiah Morgan (1819-1906) left Alabama in 1849 to come out west in search of adventure and gold. The gold endeavor did not work out so well, but he did find great farm land, plentiful game, rolling oak-covered hills, and some incredible scenery. One little known imagery fact about Jeremiah Morgan is that he raised pet octopuses. This cache is dedicated to his pet octopus named ___ (FTF gets to name Jeremiah's First Pet Octopus)

This cache will be one of a series of caches in Jeremiah's back yard. Each cache will contain a stamp (please leave the stamp). This cache is home of TB85FGZ

There is parking for about 10 cars at the trailhead, although 0-3 is typical. Morgan Territory Road is steep, narrow, windy, and offers many blind turns, so drive with caution. The main Regional Park parking lot is located at the top of the hill, some two miles to the south of the trailhead, offers water, restrooms, picnic area, maps & brochures, and (of course!) miles of great trails with associated geocaches.

Needless to say: Be mindful of poison oak, rattlesnakes, foxtails, sometimes-aggressive cows, and in the wet months killer mud

***Congrats to KCSearcher, RV CREW, and JSQuack on the FTF***
