Geocache Description:

Large Bison container. The Isles of Scilly first tree climb cache. Located in a sheltered glade of trees at the rear of Pelistry Bay and facing Toll's Island. The cache can be approached along the coastal footpath or inland from the footpath leading down from the main road via Green Lane and then turn right along the Pelistry Track by Carn Vean. Do not be tempted to leave the path and cross the field; there is often a bull in the adjoining field. Pelistry (Cornish: Porth Lystry, 'cove for ships') is a small settlement, and this isolated bay is a jewel in the island's crown. Many thanks to Amberel, dizzygirl and wesleyken who have found the original container and re-instated it its rightful place! Congratulations to RB_3 on their FTF!
