Geocache Description:

The Galloway Hills are wild and rugged, though a walk along a forestry track from Craigencallie, will take you to McWhanns Stone, from where you can get a great view across to Curleywee, Loch Dee and Craiglee. The story of the site is lost to legend and rumour, some say that it is connected with Robert the Bruce, others say that it is more ancient, who knows?
