What a wonderful day to relax somewhere beside a beautiful pond in the woods and listen to the leaves rustling in the breeze, the birds fluttering in the branches, and semi-trucks air braking zooming between Parrish and Duette. If you listen closely you can hear turtles dropping into the clear cool water while a motorcycle shifts gears attempting to break the sound barrier as they cruise between Niceville and Crestview. Yeah, this would be a one of those spots if it wasn’t for the traffic rushing up and down nearby I-75. So when you find this little spot, cover your ears and you can imagine you’re still in natural Florida rather than being so near to the never ending encroachment of civilization.
