The cache is placed near this tower where on a good day one can enjoy wonderful views in all directions.
The tower was built in the 1850's as a water pressure measuring system forming part of the water supply infrastructure for the towns in the area. In 1985 the existing iron stairway and viewing platform were installed by the CAI. The main entrance is normally open and one can ascend the iron stairs to the viewing platform at the top. The logbook is placed nearby, not on the tower itself, as the tower may be closed at some point for maintenance.

There are some comments about safety, specifically that the railings are inadequate for small kids and that the iron stairs are visibly corroded in a few places. I agree with the latter, but I found them quite solid nonetheless!
The container is a "small small" or a "big micro", and holds the logbook only. Please be sure to replace the lid securely.

La cache è collocata vicino a questa torre, da dove con beltempo si può godere di splendide viste in tutte le direzioni.
La torre fu costruita negli anni 1850 come "torre piezometrica" che faceva parte dell'infrastruttura di approvvigionamento idrico per i paesi della zona. In 1985 il CAI ha costruita la scala di ferro attuale, convertendo la torre in una vedetta. L'ingresso è normalmente aperto e si può salire le scale di ferro per la piattaforma da osservazione in alto. E' possibile che nel futuro la torre sarà chiusa per lavori di manutenzione, per cui il logbook è stato collocato fuori.

Ci sono alcuni commenti sulla sicurezza, in particolare che i parapeti sono inadeguati per i bambini piccoli e che le scale di ferro sono visibilmente corrose in alcuni punti. Sono d'accordo con quest'ultimo, ma comunque le ho trovate abbastanza solide!
Il contenitore è un "Piccolo piccolo" o un "micro grande" e tiene solo il logbook. Si prega di chiudere il coperchio in modo sicuro.
