Geocache Description:

And now for something different... this Wherigo cache is a reverse cache.

Reverse cache?

The concept: the coordinates listed and the blue pin on the map is simply a placeholder. You can start looking for this cache from anywhere on Earth, as playing the cache game in a Wherigo player will tell you the distance from your current location to the cache container. So after your first distance reading, you move to a new location, and get another distance reading. Are you nearer? Are you farther?  Now the question is: Do you keep just moving around, hoping to get closer every time, or do you try some mapping skills you may have... or a combination of both? Either way, this reverse cache is a different, fun spin on the geocaching game.

To play this Wherigo cache, you'll need to get ready to play this different and fun geocaching experience.

The prep should not take long.  Three things are needed:

1) You need a Wherigo player on your mobile device, available for free at the App Store or Play Store that matches your device type. A commonly used Wherigo player is called "WhereYouGo" in the stores.

Once you've downloaded the app, log in right away using your geocaching login name and password. The login is under the "Settings" icon

2) You need the Wherigo cache 'cartridge' built by "-Waldmeister-".  To get this specific "reverse geocache" Wherigo cartridge, click on the icon below from your mobile device.  Since you're logged in to your Wherigo player app, clicking on the icon link below should open the cartridge right away on your phone.

(The cartridge can also be downloaded by going to the wherigo.com website and doing an "Advanced Search" for the cartridge creator, "-Waldmeister-" (dashes included).)

Now:  with any luck, your Wherigo app will open the cartridge right away upon downloading.  Tap on "The Reverse Cache - beta" Cartridge and choose a "New game".  The next screen you see will look like this:

Answer "en" for your language of "English" next; then select your units of measurement (metres is the default). Answer that you wish to go ahead and "Play" this reverse cache.  This brings us to the last thing needed to find this cache...

3) You need the three specific six-digit code lines for this cache. After choosing "Play", the next screen will tell you that you'll need to enter three lines of values.  Hit "Answer" to get to the values.  The three lines of values for this specific reverse cache are:

204329

662779

528162

Once these are entered, you will be reminded that geocaching should only be done in a safe, respectful manner. From the pull down list, agree to this by selecting "Ok" (do this, or you'll be booted out of the game... LOL!)

Now you're good to go, to try and find this very unique cache!

Now In the Wherigo player, go to your "inventory", as directed. In your inventory, you'll see "Reverse Cache Box". Select this. A screen to test your GPS signal appears, and once the GPS is confirmed, the reverse cache game starts with this screen:

Upon choosing "Display distance", the cartridge will calculate the distance from your current location to the actual geocache container. This means that you can start looking for this cache from any place on the planet! Know that, after 50 tries, the game will stop! So don't "waste" attempts needlessly. Also know that the cartridge will give you a rating based upon the number of attempts used to find the cache.

Note: Do not be daunted by the above! I've given detailed instructions here with hopes to take the guesswork out of running this unfamiliar software for this cache. Consider taking the perspective of a novel cache type and a new challenge. Once you get the few minor technical bits above figured out, playing the reverse cache is definitely a lot of fun, and certainly a different caching experience for you.

So as you sit there looking at the pin on the map to the entrance to World Parkway and the airport:  Is it planes, trains, or automobiles?
