This area is posted as Long -Billed Curlew habitat. We wanted to honor this crazy looking bird with a cache. We wish people wouldn't dump their trash out here in this desert area but they do so watch out for it. Maybe that is why they have long bills other than reaching the bugs they eat, they have to dodge the trash people dump.
