This cache is hidden in the forest behind Crandall University. I discovered these trails soon after coming to the University for the first time and decided a cache needed to be placed here so people could discover this awesome forest. The container was found in these very woods as a piece of trash and is now being recycled as a cache. The trail will lead you very close to the cache but you will need to leave the trail to find it. The trail involves crossing a stream so bring/wear rubber boots. Be careful as it is steep going down to the GZ and may be icy in winter.
Note: the parking and the trails in this area are on Crandall property, please be respectful. I spoke with someone in the maintenance department who said that people are allowed to hike on the trails but no atvs or dirt bikes are allowed. Please respect all areas you walk through. Also, the biology students sometimes go into these woods for study, so if you come to find the cache while there is a class going on, please show respect and return another time so as not to interrupt them.
