Paddle and Cache #5
Can it be? This will be the 5th year for this event? Time flies by for sure.
This year the Paddle and Cache will be at Coffeepot Lake. There is camping at this location as well. There are pit bathrooms and a pavilion to do the meet and greet under.
The meet and greet will be from 1030 am - 1100 am May 12th 2018.
During the meet and greet we can exchange travel bugs and talk about everything releated to geocaching.
For those who are interested, after the event we will get our boats, canoes or what have you out on the water for a paddle around the lake. I am sure there will be some things of interest to go check out.
Your hosts will be camping at this location for the weekend. We will arrive on Friday evening after work.
On Saturday your hosts will supply hot dogs for the hungry cachers after the paddle around the lake for those who stay after the meet and greet.
The paddle portion will be a go unless high winds or thunderstorms happen to be around. The meet and greet and camping is a go, rain or shine. Remember, there is a pavilion to keep us all dry.
Remember...safety first! Have your life vest on if out on the lake!
