This beutiful lagoon is a part of my childhood and everyone else who grew up in Yelarbon. We all swam, fished, caught crayfish and got into mischief down here. Often leaving home at dawn with the one instruction be home by dark. The birdlife is a marvel and recently some Black Swans were released here and have made it home. The surrounds and the Swans are looked after by the local residents and they will be watching you. They may even come up for a chat so be aware of muggles. If you are travelling through come here to the lagoon , bring your lunch or a drink and spend a small time thinking about life in the fifties in a small country town. After you log the cache please ensure it is well covered when you return it so other cachers can enjoy.
