South I Street is one of the major hubs of Arcata Marsh activity, offering plenty of parking, access to multiple trails, birding galore, and even a launch site for your kayak if the tide is just right. Every Saturday at the crack of dawn (8:30), there's a free nature walk that starts in the parking lot and moves at a leisurely pace wherever the birds may lead it. Use the Porta-Potty at your own risk.
Cache is a micro built just for fun, somewhat removed from muggle activity but stealth is always a good idea. No flora was harmed in the making of this cache, and please be respectful of the hide area. Replace in the exact spot if possible to prevent mishaps. BYOP, and have fun!
