This CITO and continental breakfast is sponsored by GCSEWA, City of Richland and the Friends of Sacajawea group.
This gathering will start at 9 am with a light breakfast and then 10 am for the CITO. We will finish by noon.
Come help clean and learn little known history of Lewis and Clark's Trip, a guided group tour will be available by one of the park’s interpreters.
After a snack, we will hike around the park picking up trash in an area of park needing attention were giving back to the State Park making more areas cleaner than before we were there. Bring gloves, sunscreen, water, mosquito repentant and perhaps a walking stick. We will have a little water. The area is open to the public in the park and the area wasn't part of our event area.
A Friends of Sacajawea rep will help guild us with this clean up event while discussing some post trip history of Lewis and Clark's Corps of Discovery. This years history will be focused on On historical areas on site. Then we will head to our next assigned geocaching or home location! Happy CITOing!
Remember to CITO all year and we hope to see you next year.
You will need a discover pass to enter park. Parking on side of road outside park is not allowed! Honestly! It will be towed, sorry.
If you finished getting the challenge caches on Saturday but didn't get a chance to pick up your coin, they will be available for pickup today.
Please log your visit and number in party so we can get our food order right.
