Welcome to a view of Linton Water Tower and Linton Village.
This is one for walking.
You are on Rivey Hill the highest point for several miles around. The hill stands at the height of 112 metres (367 ft). The hill has a steep slope leading down to Linton and a prominence of 21 m. It is crowned by a large Water Tower which identifies it when seen from distance. A bridleway crosses near the top, ascending from Linton.
The Tower was built in 1935-36 of red brick in a buttressed Dodecagonal Art Deco style. It stands 46m high and has been Grade II listed since 2008.
If travelling by car, please check and use 1 of the 3 Waypoints provided before planning your journey.
