Geocache Description:

The location of this cache is along what many consider the Boy Scout hiking trail.  For more than 60 years scouts have hiked this 16 mile trail to help earn their hiking merit badge.  The location of this cache is near the Springbrook camping area where our scouts have camped for many years in the past and look forward to many years in the future.  Until recently this area was exclusively used by Scouts and Youth groups but is now open to the public.

Local Troop 199 places this cache to celebrate this special place and names this cache in reference to one of the first things you must learn when you enter Boy Scouts.  THE SCOUT LAW.   A Scout Is: Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent.

There is plenty of parking at the Springbrook parking area which is next to the Wabash Cannonball Trail.  This is a paved bike trail which will give you easy access to the Connector Trail.  Because it is maintained as a primitive trail, expect to find occasional down trees and wet areas.

This Cache is placed with permission from the Toledo Metroparks.  PERMIT OO-13-18
