CAUTION, EXTREME CACHE, CAUTION
This cache definitely needs specialty tools of the trade. Team work would be advisable; and as such, CO will allow all team members to log. Also, it is a nice hike to ground zero preventing an obvious tool, although some may try it anyway. Always use caution.
The cache is located in Greensfelder St. Louis County Park. There is plenty of parking near the trailhead at N38° 31.489, W090° 40.656. The hike is straightforward using the DeClue Trail. It comes within 400 feet, then an easy bushwhack. Declue Trail is marked with a white oak leaf on a red sign.
Thanks goes out to “shandrum” of Memphis, Tennessee for the fantastic idea. Hopefully he can come to Missouri and get an FTF on this one.
UPDATE: St. Louis County Parks purchased a new piece of land adjacent to Greensfelder Park off of Forby Road. There now is a parking area .25 of a mile from the cache. The hill is steep, but there is a nice trail. The new parking coordinates are N38 31.353 W090 39.449.

If you are stopped you can be ticketed or arrested and will put the future of geocaching in the parks in jeopardy. Special permission to hide caches in St. Louis County parks is NOT needed as long as the Groundspeak rules are followed. "Blanket Permission" has been worked out in advance with the park service. DO NOT CALL THE PARK as they cannot handle the calls. The Groundspeak cache reviewer does need to know exactly how and where the caches are hidden and what type of containers are used.
