It occurs to me that today is the last day to submit events for the first day of the upcoming Planetary Pursuit series of souvenirs. Given there appear to be no other events in the Southern Highlands on this day, I thought it appropriate to create one.

So, feel free to join me to discuss possible strategies and tactics for earning enough points, or just to catch up with geo-buddies or make new ones.

UPDATE: It's been pointed out to me that logs before noon UTC on the 19th won't count towards the Friend League, regardless of your local timezone:

"We suggest that you wait to log until AFTER Monday noon UTC – which in some places like New Zealand is Tuesday at midnight – to log your geocaches. Otherwise the points will not count for the first week."
So this event will go ahead as normal, and should be logged with the correct date, but I recommend not actually submitting the log (or any other cache logs you want points for) until after midnight our time.
