Geocache Description:

Santa Rita Peak is the 2nd highest mountain in the Diablo Range of California in San Benito County, 2.8 miles southeast of San Benito Mountain, the county high point. While San Benito Mountain might be a bit higher, Rita is definitely lovelier! You are looking for an ammo can hidden in the rocks.

The cache is located in the Clear Creek Management Area and you are required to obtain permits and the gate code before entering. Each vehicle requires a Vehicle Permit and each person requires a Serpentine ACEC permit. Clicking the link above will bring you to the web site where the permits can be obtained. Note: they require 48 hours advance booking for the permits so plan ahead!

Congratulations to deadley, flowerisland and greenusagi for FTF.
