There are a lot of great caches in Galena. Unfortunately there is limited room for more. But we need more caches for our visitors. My answer is to surround Galena with caches. Project GC tracks caches found by owner. I am working on finding 100 caches from each of 20 owners. I think it is only fair that I have 100 caches for them to find. I need about 50 more hides to end up with over 100 active caches. What is a number around 50? 52 - a Deck of Cards!
I will place caches 4 at a time. I will try to add interesting information about each. All the history in Galena is not in town. I hope you enjoy this series.
The 6s will show you the way from Council Hill over to Stagecoach Trail. I am placing them today March 9 in honor of my mother. Today is her birthday. She was born March 9, 1928.
The 6 of Clubs is located at the intersection of W Council Hill Road and W Stagecoach Trail. This is our destination. From here you can head east to Scales Mound, Apple River, Warren and beyond. Galena is 10 minutes to the southwest. I hope you enjoyed this group of cards.
