I had a real laugh when I hid this cache. I knew exactly where I wanted to place it, but after removing over a half a dozen 750ml bottles, I realized it needed to be well hidden from muggles. I looked around and saw an awesome hole with a large rock nearby to cover it. Only this is a micro and a hole like that would make it a hard find. As I looked at the hole, I saw a straight line inside and thought, "no way!" so I reached in and pulled out an old cache! I laughed and laughed. The container is in fine shape, complete with some decent swag but the log was very wet. I could only read the first and last pages. I hid my cache, and while the GPS was creating the coordinates, I cleaned up the area including the old cache. I had a couple of ideas of whose it could be, and my first guess was correct!
This cache is a new pill bottle and since it doesn't have a child-proof lid, I must please ask you to be sure the lid is on tight--PLEASE! If you come out here, you'll findthis cache...pictures and the hint will give it away. BYOP. The cache says geocache on the outside!
Everyone can access this cache by driving on the road past the landfill. To drive east beyond this cache is possible by all, but it is narrow (but no pin-striping), do watch for pull outs as it's basically a single vehicle road full of pot holes and major puddles after rainy spells.
This cut is on the shortcut from Tofino to drive to Virgin Falls or the Clayoquot Arm Beach Recreation Site. I recommend visiting both, especially the falls.
