I only hide caches after I've been in an area previously, and I often only hide one or two at a time. I read all logs, and am not a fan of powertrails and GSAK/cut and paste logs. All caches have been hidden with some thought, and definitely with time and effort. It is very much appreciated if finders say something unique in their log. I hid one more today than I normally would, so this is a bonus cache and I'm not expecting cachers to say anything new on this one, hence it's name. We all cache for different reasons.
In my backyard, I like to hide a cache, have it found, then hide another. This is totally annoying for those who love FTFs, but my joy as a CO to annoy them! ;-)
