This cache can be found just a short walk from either the parking area on top of the hill near the entrance of beautiful Mahr Park in Madisonville KY or from the parking lot beside the kayak launch on Lake PeeWee on the back side of the park. The trail is paved, but has a pretty good size hill to climb getting back to the parking lot near the entrance. In years past, you would have seen a herd of Black Angus cattle grazing the lush pastures in this valley but nowadays you'll need to watch out for the walkers, bikers and disc golfers, and you might even see some deer, turkeys or other wildlife. The container is small and contains a log and pencil and it has enough room for some small trade items. Park closes at dusk. Please note, the cache has been moved a short distance from the original location. The new coordinates are N 37° 20.974' W 87° 30.772'.
