Le Centre Jean-Daigle est nommé en l'honneur d'un citoyen d'Edmundston qui a fait une contribution financière exceptionnelle à la campagne de l'amphithéâtre communautaire.Homme d'affaires habile et audacieux,Jean Daigle a dirigé l'entreprise familiale Clarence Daigle et Fils, lui donnant une envergure inégalée à l'échelle régionale dans le domaine des travaux publics.Jean Daigle est un passionné de hockey. Ses premiers coups de patin donnés à Edmundston l'ont propulsé jusqu'à la Lique junior majeure du Québec. Il était promis à une belle carrière professionnelle, ayant été repêché par les Flyers de Philadelphie, mais les aléas de la vie l'ont plutôt amené a briller au sein du monde des affaires.

The Jean-Daigle is named in honour of a citizen of Edmundston who made an outstanding financial contribution to the community amphitheatre campaign. Jean Daigle,a skilled and audacious businessman, brought the family business Clarence Daigle et fils, to an unparalleled regional scale in the public works sector. Jean Daigle is genuinely passionate about hockey. He first laced up his skates in Edmundston which over the years propelled him to the Quebec Major Junior League. He was promised to a prominent professional career, having benn drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers, but instead destiny led him to excel in the business world.
