Geocache Description:

Our Spring Fling Cache In Trash Out (CITO) Event

We host these CITO events to express our gratitude, and it gives us the opportunity to give back to the park for allowing us to place so many caches for everyone to enjoy as well as holding events like the Funcoast Bash.

Event Time is 8:30 AM - 11 AM

  1. We will meet in the parking lot near the ranger station at 8:30 AM
  2. If you come in late check with the ranger station to find out where we are cleaning up at in the park.
  3. The Park Manger Steve will be giving us an area to clean up in the park.
  4. It will only be for a couple of hours to help out like usual.

Bonus: You will also get a Spring CITO 2018 souvenir for attending

We will make an announcement as soon as we find out what the cleanup will entail. This way you can prepare for it, like trash pickup, weed pulling, area clearing etc. as an example of past CITO events. So make sure to log your will attend or mark it to be watched so you get the announcement.

For those not staying in the park you can come back into the park for FREE to help with this event. Just let the booth attendant know that are here for the CITO event to help clean up the park and it was approved by the park manger Steve.

  • Please wear clothes that you won't mind getting dirty
  • Recommended is long pants, closed toe shoes, and bring gloves if you have them
  • If you have tools to pickup trash or weeds, please bring them along as well
  • Most important of all bring bug spray to ward off the bugs!
  • We will provide a water cooler and cups for cold water, but no bottled water

Thank you for coming and helping to make the park a great place to come back to!
